Common Questions About VisionGuard™

Will this work with my existing security system?

Yes. VisionGuard can operate as a standalone system or alongside your existing alarm or camera setup.

Will the fog damage my electronics or expensive inventory?

Not at all. VisionGuard™ uses a specialized "dry fog" technology. Unlike old-school theater fog or oil-based machines, our formula is non-corrosive and non-conductive. It’s specifically designed for high-tech environments—it won’t leave a residue on your 4K TVs, computer servers, or delicate retail fabrics. Once you ventilate the room, the fog simply vanishes.

Can I see through the fog using the built-in HD camera?

The camera is your "eye"before and during the initial deployment. It allows you to visually verify the intruder and use the 2-way audio to shout a warning. Once the fog fills the room (in about 15 seconds), visibility is cut for everyone—including the camera. This is intentional. If you can’t see the intruder, they definitely can’t see your valuables.

What happens if I’m not looking at my phone when the alarm goes off?

VisionGuard™ is proactive, not reactive. You can set the system to "Auto-Deploy" based on the PIR motion sensor. If an intruder breaks in at 3 AM, the system detects the motion, sends a push notification to your phone, and can immediately fill the room with fog without you lifting a finger. It protects your property even when you're sound asleep.

Is the fog safe for my family and pets?

Yes. Safety is our priority. The Iron Fog formula is non-toxic and has been independently laboratory tested. It is breathable and safe for humans and animals. While it is incredibly effective at disorienting an intruder by removing their sight, it does not use harmful chemicals or skin irritants.

Do I need professional installation?

No. VisionGuard is designed for straightforward ceiling installation and app-based setup.

What happens after the fog deploys?

Once the area is safe, ventilate the space and reset the system following the installation guide.
Many customers keep a spare 3-set of cartridges on hand to remain protected after a test or event.

How do I "reset" the system after a deployment?

It takes less than 60 seconds. VisionGuard™ uses a simple three-cartridge system. If you deploy the fog, you just unscrew the spent canisters and twist in fresh ones (HAM-C2 refills). There are no tanks to refill, no pumps to prime, and no mess to clean up. You’re back to 100% protection almost instantly.

Do I need a monthly subscription to use the App?

No. The Tuya Smart App integration is included with your purchase. You can livestream, receive alerts, and trigger the fog from anywhere in the world with $0 monthly fees. You own the hardware, and you own the service.
