Operational Safety

Visibility Reduction

The primary effect is near-zero visibility. If triggered while you are present, stop moving immediately. Do not attempt to run or use stairs until visibility returns.

Clearing the Room

Fog dissipates naturally. To accelerate clearing, open windows and doors to create a draft. Running HVAC fans will also help cycle the air.

Intentional Trigger

Iron Fog does not self-activate. It requires a specific signal (Panic Button, Alarm Relay, or App). Always ensure your trigger method is secure from children.

Health & Environment

Iron Fog uses a solid pyrotechnic fog formula (mainly sucrose, magnesium hydroxide and kaolin, per the manufacturer's SDS). It is not classified as hazardous to health under GHS, but like any dense fog it can irritate eyes, skin and airways.

Is it safe for pets?
The fog is not classified as a health hazard, but it has not been specifically tested on animals. Pets may be frightened or confused by the sudden loss of visibility and, like people, may experience eye or airway irritation. Ventilate promptly after a deployment, keep floor pathways clear of sharp objects, and consider placing units away from where pets are kept.
Respiratory Sensitivities
Any dense particulate can irritate those with severe asthma or respiratory conditions. If high-risk individuals live in the home, consult our support team for placement advice away from primary living quarters.

Electronics & Property

Our dry fog is designed to minimize residue in offices, retail stores and homes with standard electronics. Small amounts of fine residue can settle in some environments, so test your placement and ventilate after deployment.

Follow the cubic-meter sizing guidelines to reduce the risk of residue on computers, TVs and appliances.


Placement Warning

Do not aim the nozzle directly at a device from close range (< 1 meter). Allow space for the fog to expand.
