Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to feel fully confident in your purchase. This policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work for Iron Fog™ products and accessories.
30-Day Return Window
You have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return (RMA). To be eligible, items must be in the same condition you received them: unused, uninstalled, with all original tags/accessories, and in the original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
How to Start a Return
- Email returns@ironfog.co with your order number, item(s), and reason for return (photos encouraged for damaged/DOA claims).
- If approved, we’ll issue an RMA number, a return shipping label (where applicable), and packing instructions.
- Ship the item(s) back within 10 calendar days of RMA approval. Items sent back without an RMA will be refused.
Non-Returnable / Restricted Items
- Opened or used refill cartridges (consumables) — not returnable for safety, regulatory, and quality-control reasons.
- Products that have been activated, installed, or test-fired (fog units with any discharge) — not eligible for return.
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases (as defined by carrier/regulatory rules) — returns restricted or prohibited.
- Custom/special-order items, gift cards, and sale/clearance items — final sale unless required by law.

Damages, Defects & Wrong Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 48 hours at returns@ironfog.co if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. We’ll evaluate and make it right (replacement, parts, or refund, at our discretion). Keep all packaging for carrier claims.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get what you want is to submit a return for the item you have. Once approved and the return is in transit, place a new order for the replacement item.
Return Shipping & Restocking
- Our error / DOA / damage in transit: We cover reasonable return shipping or provide a prepaid label.
- Buyer’s remorse / ordered wrong item: Return shipping is your responsibility. We may assess a up to 75% restocking fee to cover inspection, testing, and repackaging of unopened, resalable items.
- Items must be packed securely; damage due to inadequate packaging may reduce or void the refund.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll email you about approval or rejection. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the credit.
If it’s been more than 15 business days since approval and you haven’t seen the refund, contact returns@ironfog.co.
EU 14-Day Cooling-Off (If Applicable)
If your order ships into the European Union, you may cancel or return within 14 days for any reason. Items must be unused, in original packaging, with proof of purchase. Exceptions and hazardous/consumable restrictions still apply.
Important Safety & Compliance Notes
- For safety and legal compliance, do not ship used or discharged cartridges back to us unless explicitly authorised in writing with special handling instructions.
- Follow all carrier and regulatory (hazmat) requirements when returning eligible items; we’ll advise if applicable.
- Returns may be refused if items arrive used, installed, damaged, or missing components (manuals, brackets, cables, accessories) not disclosed during RMA.
